LITTLE CREEK CASINO RESORT TEAM MEMBER TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Shelton, WA — As emphasized when Little Creek Casino Resort reopened, our management is committed to transparency and continues to take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of our guests and our employees. With that being said, on November 3, 2020, we had a team member inform management that they had recently tested positive for COVID-19. The team member has since been put under quarantine.

Another team member met the criteria of being in "close contact" with the positive case, so they have been notified and put under quarantine as well, per the CDC guidelines. Little Creek Casino Resort will continue to follow the outline for confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the workplace. The confidentiality of the affected team members will be maintained.

For the health & safety of all team members and guests, we will continue the enhanced sanitization protocols and follow the strongly enforced safety measures that have been in place since reopening in May.

We will continue to monitor all updates from the CDC and will update safety procedures as necessary. We are also working closely with public health officials, team members and the community to follow and implement recommended safety measures for the health and well-being of all employees and guests. These measures include:

  •  Extensive routine cleaning of the entire resort, including the casino, hotel & golf club
  •  Screening of all Team Members as they report to work daily including a daily temperature check. Any temperature above 100.4◦F will not be granted access in.
  •  Random COVID-19 testing of team members
  •  We continue to be a smoke-free facility, which includes vaping and e-cigarettes. We have designated outdoor smoking areas.
  •  HEPA air filter exchange for constant new airflow
  •  The continuation of enforcement that all guests and team members are required to wear their own mask that covers the nose and mouth
  •  Social distancing identification markers in place on the floor. Focused entrances & exits are in place to assist in routing guests
  •  Plastic barriers are in place at cashier stations, table games, hotel check-in & Players Club
  •  Hand Sanitation stations are located throughout the casino & resort, including the main entrance
