Shelton, WA — Rickie Ramage Little Creek Casino Catering Manager honored with a Community Leadership Award presented by Thurston County Chamber in partnership with Twinstar Credit Union on February 25th, 2021.

The Distinguished Leader Awards recognizes leaders who demonstrate outstanding initiative, inspire others, and make a significant impact that go beyond their organizations and shine through their community support and involvement. Leaders are often the unsung heroes working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Rickie Ramage was nominated specifically for her efforts during the Washington state and Little Creek Casino Resort shut down she was part of planning including assisting in security temp checks for our employees, ordering safety supplies for team members. Set a policy for returning members. Helped purchase and install plexiglass. Helped in ordering food and beverage supplies for the safety of our team and the general public. She stepped in to assist in creating and developing the Little Creek Casino Resort policy for reopening during covid-19 pandemic. She also communicated as the liaison between the Squaxin Island Tribal Gaming Agency and the Emergency Operations Center at the Squaxin Island Tribe. Taking on both roles of risk management, incident commander and catering manager all while attending college.
